Designers, philosophers, manufacturers, artists, journalists, gallery owners and photographers have all added their unique perspective and their professional experience to the planning of this exhibition. Interviewed by the Peclers agency to explain their vision of le French Design and help conceptualize the project, these 40 French, and foreign experts were then invited to form a think tank. The objective of this think tank? Define the essence of le French Design, and then select 40 cult objects to represent it. A difficult choice to say the least! A choice requiring commitment, attention to detail and reasoned argument. Following both their head and heart, each participant was given the opportunity to share their ideas for the enrichment of the exhibition.
