See the works of Eder Cetina of the LA Art Collective for a limited time on our gallery walls. Called “Spatial Interventions,” these large-scale canvases re-create the soul of the Los Angeles street-art mural and the sensibility of modern abstract museum art. Splotched and dappled, the works play against the brick walls of the gallery as much as they bathe the viewer in the golden sunshine of Southern California. Cetina, together with artist Tiffany Trenda and members of the LA Art Collective, also includes a striking portrait of resistance in the form of signage (see attached). Cetina’s work, like the place that inspires it, is uniquely subtle and layered – beyond bold graphics is something much deeper.
