Crop-Up: Elevating Parts to Revitalize the Whole

Crop-Up’s brand concept aims to elevate the Firestone community through healthier lifestyle provisions and viable recreation spaces.

The Metro Blue Line, which goes through the park, will transport produce from the park’s Grow Hubs, located directly underneath the station, turning gray infrastructure into green infrastructure.

Alongside the Grow Hubs are new recreation zones with various programs, such as the community center, market space, sports courts, a pool, a running path, and sprawling fields. Within the parkscape also resides the Kid’s Table, which includes a skatepark, a multi-purpose center, and playground space. These amenities are accessible to all but directly benefit the Firestone community.
