DJ Orchestra

DJ-Orchestra is a 3-sided kinetic dj booth with 3 DJ players arrayed at crowd level. These intend to invite aspiring dj’s and curious music lovers to select from preloaded musical samples on each player from which the headlining dj in the central booth can then curate from and overlay with their ongoing mix. The aim of this architectural/musical experiment is to challenge the traditional performance dynamic and invite aspiring DJ’s who attend electronic music events worldwide to engage with and participate in the headliners performance as if they were members of an orchestra where the headlining DJ is the maestro.
