Join us for a guided ecology walk with Paige Emery to get to know the plants growing around LA in embodied practice accompanied by a discussion on decolonizing relationships with plants and building conscious relationships of reverence and reciprocity with the land we inhabit.
Paige Emery is an artist and herbalist exploring ways of remembering the Earth. Her research traverses critical ecology, ethnobotany and ecopsychology, while her practice has taken shape through interwoven forms such as artworks alchemized with medicinal plants, site-specific installations, ecopoetic talks and performances, and healing plant rituals.
