Since 2001, A+D has been a nomadic museum. In 2009, we decided to profoundly change the operating paradigm and create a permanent space centrally located on Museum Row. A stable presence furthers our mission to educate and expose the larger community to the important roles of Architecture and Design in shaping the quality of urban life.

On April 27, 2010 A+D Museum is hosting CELEBRATE 2010, a Grand Opening Exhibit and inaugural Fundraising Event to celebrate our newly established home, the 20/20 Foundation Group and A+D Supporters that have made this move possible. The 20/20 is a select group of Los Angeles’ preeminent Architects and Designers whose support of A+D has enabled our move to become a firmly situated cultural institution. They, and other renowned architects, artists, designers, community leaders, and celebrities, as well as LAUSD 5th Graders, are being invited to create seminal works from an ‘A+D Kit’ for a silent auction and exhibit at the Museum.
