Susan Miller-Carlson has worked in the entertainment industry for over two decades. She started her career at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), handling special projects for the agency's top clients. Susan worked directly and closely with many of the leading artists in film, television and music.
During her tenure at CAA, Miller developed and spearheaded the corporate consulting unit within the agency, which continues today and has been replicated by many agencies and management companies. In 1997, Ms. Miller-Carlson joined the Walt Disney Company and served as a Senior Executive spearheading corporate projects and coordinating special initiatives among the business units inside and outside of the company.
Following her tenure at Disney, Miller-Carlson joined founders Michael Ovitz, Rick Yorn and Julie Yorn in forming Artists Management Group in January of 1999. At AMG, she was responsible for managing film clients, developing synergy among the many business units and handling special projects for the firm's top talent as well as interfacing with and managing all media relations. In addition, Miller was the client leader for the Seventeen Magazine, The Palms Hotel in Las Vegas and the new I.M. Pei designed Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. Susan currently works as a consultant to Ubiquity Partners LLC in their areas of branding and marketing.
