Founder and Executive Director of the Architectural Properties Division Coldwell Banker, Jan has specialized in the sale of architect-designed houses for the past 25 years and has been a top producer during that period. He has been a member of the Coldwell Banker President’s Elite, President’s Circle and the California 100.
Jan has represented the sale of houses designed by virtually every major architect in Southern California including Paul Williams, Wallace Neff, Richard Neutra, F. Lloyd Wright Jr., John Lautner, Craig Ellwood, Charles Eames, Eero Sarinen, Ray Kappe, Marshal Lewis, Peter Choate, Buff & Hensman, Gregory Ain, Gordon Kaufman, Brien Murphy, John Byers, Quincy Jones, J. Phillip Brown, Frederick Fisher, Edward Fickett, and many, many more. Jan was featured in Who’s Who In America (Western Edition), Newsweek, Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Robb Report, Los Angeles Times, Coast magazine, Los Angeles Business Journal, and San Diego Business Journal and a featured guest on KGIL, KTLA television and recently on Fine Living.
He has been a featured speaker most recently at the Museum of Architecture, the Museum of Modern Art in La Jolla, and the New School of Architecture in San Diego. He has also been a guest speaker at universities throughout the United States including Harvard, Yale, Stanford, UC Berkeley, UC Hastings – College of the Law, UCLA, USC, University of Chicago, Columbia University, and New York University. He is also an affiliate member of the AIA, Los Angeles Chapter.
