Getty Intern + Supervisor Luncheon
Featuring TOKYOPOP, took place August 8, 2006, here at the museum.
Interns and their supervisors gathered over lunch and chatted with
designers from TOKYOPOP, an entertainment brand for the Manga
Revolution. After lunch, interns and supervisors were given a glimpse
into the TOKYOPOP Los Angeles office.

DEATH TO URBAN SPRAWL
The A + D welcomed the American Institute of Architecture Students
West Quad Conference, Death to Urban Sprawl, in October. It was here that they
invited architects Jack Eidt, Alan Loomis, Neal Payton, and students from Montana to Hawaii to discuss the
subject of sprawl and its repercussions, affecting social organization.
This event was hosted by the California Polytechnics San Luis Obispo and Pomona.
