More about

Based since 1988 in Los Angeles, Denari began a firm now called Neil M. Denari Architects (NMDA). He was the director of SCI-Arc from 1997-2002. He is a professor of architecture and the Interim Chair of Architecture
and Urban Design at UCLA.

Margaret Griffin, FAIA, is co-founder and principal of award-winning Los Angeles-based, Griffin Enright
Architects, a collaborative practice that yields creative, forward-thinking designs. In addition to guiding a
progressive practice, Griffin is an educator with more than 24 years of experience teaching and has been on
the design and technology faculty at SCI-Arc for the past decade.
Founder of the influential studio Morphosis, and co-founder of the Southern California Institute
of Architecture, Pritzker Prize-winning architect Thom Mayne marries conceptual ideas with form, challenging the
way we perceive structure, building and the environment. The output of his Santa Monica-based studio,
Morphosis, shows the results of the negotiations between concept and reality.
